Dreams I've Drawn
Attempting a practice of visually depicting some of my dreams, with narratives simplified for brevity & ease of storytelling: finding the strong thread within the meandering tapestry.

In a building, like a multi story college classroom building. People I was with were relatively new to me. They were witches? There was a sort of teasing or hazing practice of like... information bombing each other. Like if you saw something written down, it was like a curse, knowledge you couldn't undo which would do you harm. One young woman had a magazine? With a piece of lined paper on it on which shed written, like... DUEL and some stuff. She flashed the paper at me in one of these information bomb / duels but I was fast and clever, averted my eyes and just grabbed the folded magazine thing from her. With thanks. And left. I left. I caught up with another woman, one I wanted to know better, and asked if she used Signal. She laughed a little and said she'd been using it since the beginning. I said I was only recently using it regularly, did know others who used it. She sat at a table like in an open common area. I joined her. I think she gave me her Signal handle. I cautiously investigated the thing from the woman in the previous room, which is when I discovered that it was in fact a magazine. I felt like it had belonged to someone who had moved on or died or something and now I was inheriting it. A witch magazine with recipes and spells and info but with a Good Housekeeping magazine vibe.
